The Bella Coola Valley Arts Council provides a venue for performances and a gallery for artists and operates the Bella Coola Valley Gallery. They sponsor performing artists, hold artistic and musical workshops, organize arts and crafts fairs and support a variety of art shows. The Gallery also features a shop where you can buy local, artisan-made pottery, stained glass, clothing, bags, cards and jewellery.

The Bella Coola Valley Arts Council aims to actively promote and support the arts of all kinds within the Bella Coola Valley. This non-profit organization relies on their hard working and dedicated volunteers.

Bella Coola Valley Arts Council are also a member of the Bella Coola Valley Tourism Association.

The members of the Bella Coola Valley Arts Council are passionate about their community. They volunteer to serve on the Board and put in many hours coordinating and carrying out successful arts events in the area. The Bella Coola Valley has amazing artistic and musical talent and the Arts Council is pleased to share this culture with local audiences.

Ida M. Eriksen, IS President of the Arts Council and loves living in Bella Coola where there is a real sense of community along with a small town pace of life. Ida enjoys the clean fresh air and the absolute beauty of the area. She enjoys making a positive impact on her community by working alongside the other dedicated volunteers with the Bella Coola Valley Arts Council. "The Arts Council is proud to be able to sponsor events such as musical performances, arts and crafts fairs and children's art shows," said Ida. The Arts Council is a non-profit organization that is part of the artistic entrepreneurial community in the Valley.
