Meet Terry Dong
Terry describes Bella Coola as a small, close-knit community where everybody knows each other and the people are very friendly. Terry loves to fish and enjoys hiking whenever he gets a chance. The M Gurr Lake Trail is one of Terry’s favourites due to the enjoyable hike and rewarding view.
The Bella Coola Valley Inn is owned and operated by Terry. He is happy to keep the Inn an active part of his community’s small business centre and really likes his job. “I get to meet great people every summer from all over the world,” he said, “and I have the support of the local customers for the restaurant.”
Many years ago Terry introduced Korean and Japanese cuisine to Bella Coola and the locals love his menu. Terry is proud of the Bella Coola Valley Inn and is thankful for the ongoing community support that helps keep his business so successful.
